Logie was the second venue we visited after getting engaged and we knew instantly that this was where we wanted to get married. The house has 13 bedrooms so we were able to have our family and friends stay with us from Friday through to Monday and allow us time to extend the celebrations and really get the most out of our wedding buzz.
It has a lot of amenities to keep everyone busy - swimming pool, TV/games room and 2 hot tubs (which were a Godsend with 12 kids to entertain!) and several 'living rooms'. It's got it's own island and secret tree house too!
Stef and Tim are lovely hosts who are accommodating to each guest's needs. It is such a big property to manage but nothing was an issue for them. They made us feel so welcome and ensured there was always someone available to help if we needed.
We had full use of the property for the weekend so could choose whether to get married outside in the courtyard, in the house or in the ballroom. Its very flexible to let you have exactly the day you want. We were lucky to have a sunny autumn day so we wandered all over the property for our photos and the fall colours were just stunning.
Gillian, the Events Manager was brilliant. She showed us round the place a few times to get us acquainted with it all and kept the whole day running smoothly. Thank you Gillian for keeping us right!
I could say 100 more things about Logie but this is already quite a long review and you're probably bored of my rabbiting by now but go on their website, arrange a visit - you won't regret it!
We had the most amazing wedding...just perfect. I'd do it all again in a heartbeat, thanks again Stef and Tim for everything
We got married at Logie in September and it was fantastic. The location and amenities made the perfect setting for our wedding. Our guests could enjoy the hot tubs (2 of them!) swimming pool and the beautiful grounds. The bridal suite was amazing!
Gillian, the event organiser was fantastic from start to finish- could not recommend her highly enough - she listened to us, made suggestions where needed and made sure everything went smoothly on the day. We were even allowed to bring our labrador for the celebrations.
It was first place we viewed when looking for venues and didn’t even need to look anywhere else. A perfect location with beautiful grounds and lots of accommodation for your guests!
We got married at Logie Country House in September this year and it truly was the best weekend of our lives. The Castle/House is set in the most beautiful Scottish countryside and all of the rooms are perfectly set up for the group to enjoy themselves over the course of the weekend. The fact that we could check in on the Friday and not leave until the Monday made it much more of a relaxing experience than other wedding venues we had considered first.
We lucked out with the weather over our wedding weekend and got to use the grounds completely - the small bridge over to the private island/treehouse, going for walks up to see the cows and horses, having jacuzzis outside in the sun and eating leftover food in the beautiful courtyard the next day. Logie Country House were very flexible with allowing us to have a pizza van on the Sunday as well as considering other vendors/suppliers for the day after our wedding.
The ballroom (where we had the reception) catered very well to our 150+ guests and Gillian (events manager) was around to answer all of our questions and provide suggestions whenever we got stuck. This was particularly helpful planning our wedding from Melbourne, Australia. We loved the option of being able to provide our own wine and drinks and we also loved the various catering options through Hudsons (preferred caterer), not only on the wedding day but also the night before and days after. Thanks so much to Stef, Tim and Gillian for creating the perfect venue! We would love to repeat our big day again!
My Daughter and now son in law got married on Friday 12th of Oct. we found the venue Staff and food to be of the highest Standard.
My daughter and new son in law were married at Logie Country House last week and I can honestly say it was by far the best time we have all had together for a long time. The house was perfect, welcoming and relaxing, comfortable and spacious but still homely. The beds gave everyone a great nights sleep and having the house to spend time in together before and after the wedding gave us the time to make even more precious memories. Everyone mentioned the super atmosphere at Logie, how relaxing it was, how our time there felt neither rushed nor drawn out, just perfect to make the perfect day even more special. Thank you to all the wonderful staff behind the scenes who made this a day to remember, to the catering staff who were excellent, seamless and so professional, to the photographer Susan Renee who captured the day and the emotions with ease making everyone feel special and to the owners of Logie Country House for making this wonderful venue available and for maintaining such a beautiful estate. My praise could not be higher, I am a very, very happy mum x
