We stayed at this lovely Tuscan home for a family reunion and can highly recommend the property - especially for large groups. It was great to have so much space and so many bathrooms (five!) - no queues for the shower needed! It's a very, clean, comfortable home with bags of character but not cluttered (like we've found with previous rentals) and the kitchen is really well equipped for group cooking. We mostly talk about the setting of this house - completely private with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and the town of Bagni di Lucca at the bottom of the valley - beautifully lit up at night. We spent a lot of time around the pool which is just perfect and kept the youngsters in the group entertained but there's also lots to see and do in the local area with stunning walks and medieval towns to see nearby. The local restaurants are excellent and on a couple of evenings we employed a local chef who came to the house and prepared an amazing feast - the home owners organised this for us and can't recommend it enough - such good value for such wonderful homemade Italian food. Our stay in Tuscany was simply bellissimo at this wonderful home!

A big group of us stayed in La Dioma in July last year - what a location! The villa is superb, decorated throughout in a traditional Tuscan-like style but with lots of modern touches. The entertaining space is very good - with a large kitchen table and a lovely big granite outside table, partly covered so we could sit outside in the sun and have lunch beneath it.
The pool area was ideal - all of our children loved it! They also fully appreciated the English TV! The owners clearly recognise the luxuries in life!
The view is incredible - looking down on the pretty spa town of Bagni Di Lucca. When we were sat around the pool, we were surrounded by mountains with all day sun (and thankfully a well shaded pergola!)
The village is a short drive from the town of Bagni di Lucca, with lots of restaurants (menus in English!) and supermarkets etc.
We would definitely go back to this stunning spot.
