Very pretty but really busy
Feels like one of these tourists groups stops, many boats arriving and dropping lots of people, still beautiful but not sure for how long

We went early in the morning on a nice sunny day and the beach was beautiful. Wear good shoes and prepare for the hike back to the car park. Just stunning!

This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, according to many classifications. This is absolutely true.

HOWEVER, this is not a trip for the faint hearted. To get to this little slice of heaven, one must hike one and half hours in sardinian sun up and down a mountain and same again on the way back. I have seen people crying on the way back! It is very rocky, could get injured along the hike.

Because the beach is incredibly small and people tend to stay for a long time once there I recommend getting a very early start, if even to beat the midday heat. Pack food and plenty of water! There are no venues or vendors around.

That being said, once arrived on the beach, it is all been worth it . It is absolutely gorgeous and breath taking.

The water is crystal clear as it is a quartz beach, there’s a lovely breeze throughout the day. Great for snorkelling, the waters full of fish as close even to the shore as you could imagine.

Recommended for thrill seekers.

I would recommend wearing sturdy sneakers at a minimum, maybe even some hiking shoes. I have bad knees and found the trek to be doable. So worth it. The views and swimming in that clear blue sea were both incredible. Highly recommend!

I loved this walk !!!
Im not a professional, but even for me it was a doable walk. Yes - we had to make few stops on our way back (upwards the mountain), but the view was worth it.
You have to pay for entrance, but parking was for free.
Better have a good walking shoes, flip flops leave at home or carry in your backpack.
Take some water as it takes a while to get both ways.
The distance is about 4km long and it took 1h 20minutes to get to the sea, and about 1h 35 minutes to get back to parking.
The bay itself is so magnificet - you will make the best pictures. However it is crowded even offseason time - try to climb rocks to the left side, there is bit more space.
