Such a great experience eating a local meal. It was like sitting in someone’s home as they cooked a delicious and authentic meal. As a strictly English speaking traveler I appreciated the sheet of common terms that were provided on the table. It was nice to be able to complement them on their service and delicious food

Go here, their food is so good, cheap prices, and awesome traditional eats. Had the Casado con pollo and was super stoked about it.

Went here because it was next door to our hotel. We tried the shrimp and rice entree which had 4 pieces of shrimp and rice and some chips and salad on the side. Definitely lacking in quantity and substance. Also got the quesadilla which was basically two hard tortillas with that white cheese in the middle that doesn’t melt, covered with tomato sauce. Maybe the causados are better but what we ordered was pretty terrible.

Also they only take cash.

We ate casado and meat in sauce with rice, and they were both delicious! It was a good portion for a really good price. If you want to eat Costa Rican food I would recommend it. Staff was also super nice and they gave us a little dessert!

Nice litte soda right next to our hotel. Very reasonable prices, large portions, tasty food. We ate there twice - first time the service was very slow, 2nd time was much faster (though we were the only customers both times).
Taxes are included in price (which is not always the case). Make sure you check math in your bill. I would go there again.
