My wife and I stayed at the very quaint Gatelodge property on the Estate during our honeymoon. It is a truly charming and very comfortable and well equipped property on 3 levels and from the outside it’s really eye catching with its turreted tower - really makes you feel you are staying in your own little Scottish castle. There is a lovely decking area at the rear where you can relax besides the River Pattack as it gently flows by on the last yards of its journey into nearby Loch Laggan. We had a very interesting tour of Ardverikie Castle by Phil - the Estate Manager who along with Mhairi who runs the Estate office and Gordon who is the go to man for any maintenance problems on the property were all nice people to meet during our stay. The Ardverikie Estate is quite breathtaking from the shores of Loch Laggan up to the more remote hillsides with the Castle as it’s centrepiece - it felt a real privilege to stay within its boundaries. Also don’t miss out on the walk to the nearby Pattack Falls just past Galavie Farm - another Estate property for larger parties and highly recommended is a 4x4 Landrover tour of the Estate which gives you plenty of ideas on how to max the enjoyment of your stay - Ian our guide was brilliant and proved his photography skills taking plenty more of shots of my wife and I in some lovely locations.

The tv shows filmed here don't begin to show the vast unspoiled place this is. We took the Land rover tour with Grant who has been coming there since childhood. He has great passion for the preservation of this place and possesses a wealth of knowledge that he eagerly shares. It felt like having a place like Yosemite to ourselves. Magic!

We held our daughters wedding in the main house and stayed on the estate in several of the properties, it is a stunning estate, with plenty of activities available. The staff are wonderful and very helpful.
