“Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous”
Reviewed 28 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

What a wonderful place and a wonderful host!
We had a brilliant weekend. The accommodation is superb - quirky, cosy, clean, well appointed. There is ample space - ideal for groups going away together. Everything you need is on hand - the kitchen is well geared up for cooking home from home. The beds are very comfy, the bedlinen clean and towels plentiful.
The space itself is very warm and cosy. Spectacular views all around - from every window.
Roy, the host is an absolute star - he was very welcoming and accommodating. One member of our party was very late arriving but he waited (in the snow!) for well over an hour so that he could make sure our latecomer knew where to go in the dark (we parked at the top of the drive due to snow!). He went over and beyond the call of duty and was so friendly and helpful.
We all enjoyed seeing the Highland cows - especially Alfie! A lovely area with lots of walks, and only 5 minutes into Newtonmore.
Would definitely recommend this place - we will be back again!!

“Great accommodation, great location, great host.”
Reviewed 26 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

Super location, wonderful scenery. Stayed this weekend with three friends. The accommodation was very quirky and comfortable. The owner Roy was so welcoming and obliging. He even waited at the top of the road in the dark for one of our group to arrive to guide her in as it was snowy and icy. Will definitely return.

“Perfect higland retreat”
Reviewed 6 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

We had a great time exploring the highlands and found the crofthouse a perfect spot to wind down at the end of the day. Our host Roy was delightful and a font of knowledge on the wildlife and nature that surrounded us. The Croft is well set up for a family and a delight with the stairs and bedrooms in the attic space. Our kids were thrilled with these. The sustainable building methods and philosophy that goes with this farm are inspiring. We will visit again if we have the opportunity.

“Fabulous property & host!”
Reviewed 4 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Can't recommend highly enough. The property was amazing, better than it looked online and had everything you could need. The kids really liked the converted double garage that been turned into a great useable space that they used as a dance studio Roy, the owner, was just so helpful & nothing was too much trouble. He even took the time to introduce us to his highland cattle herd & explain about the farm life. The countryside was lovely & there was so much to do we wish we had booked for longer. We will definitely be recommending to friends and family. A lovely mini holiday! Thanks Roy!

Excellent location and superb host.
Sat nav clearly led us astray just like the owner Roy had warned, but once we found the place the accommodation was very good and the view from the balcony was to die for!
