This was a lovely little pub that we visited during our trip to Symonds Yat.
Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Went here on a beautiful summer Saturday evening and sat by the river for food & drinks. Location is stunning and worth the visit alone however I wouldn’t rush back to eat here based mainly on the fact that they thought it was perfectly acceptable to bring out our starters and main courses together at exactly the same time! Needless to say this made my already over-cooked steak not too far from inedible

Enjoyed a light lunch whilst watching the boats on the river which was lovely. The pub/restaurant was buzzing with great atmosphere. Owner was very friendly and staff helpful. Will definitely go back again.

Walked here for Saturday night Dinner. The food was delicious. A separate gluten free menu available which is a blessing and you can eat inside with a dog if there is a table free in the conservatory.

The views are fantastic and the building and hand ferry have a very interesting history. A little pricy but when you consider how beautiful it is there it is to be expected.

Great range of drinks and food and the staff are all welcoming and professional in appearance and attitude. I would strongly recommend a visit especially on a sunny afternoon.

A truly stunning location, we have not been here for some time & by all accounts there are new owners at the helm.
Still comfortable in a rustic way & still dog friendly in the bar. Perhaps it was us on the day but we felt there was an attitude amongst the staff, just seemed to lack a cheerful atmosphere. The food was ok but nothing to write home about but at the end of the day the location scores the Brownie Points.
