We took a "superior room" here as the prices were so reasonable and it was a delight. The building is an ex-convent and as such retains a great deal of character and quirky charm. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom and also a balcony. There is ample parking and a small but nice pool. The lounge/bar was very comfortable and the prices extremely reasonable. Breakfast was acceptable although not great but for the price I wouldn't make this an issue. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly.
One thing you should be aware of is the absence of an elevator which of course means you have to carry your bags up to your room and this can mean quite a lot of stairs. That said the staff offered to and did assist us with this.
This is a comfortable, charming hotel, well-placed for exploring the town and offering exceptional value for money.More
