While I had panini in my bag, the day was too hot and I needed a beer, preferably outside. Piadineria AL59 is on Corso G Matteotti, a long avenue that continues to Via della Battaglia, all the way from Anghiari to Sansepolcro in an impressive straight line. The terrace of Piadineria AL59 is on Corso G Matteotti, half way up on the uphill from the Piazza Baldaccio, just a few minutes, and you have this impressive view. In terms of food, they prepare piadine as ordered. There is also a menu in English. They sell white and amber beer locally produced. With cooling breezes through my shirt, looking down at the long road to Sansepolcro, and a bottle of beer and hot piadina in my hands, it was a simple but memorable meal.
