Masseria Cervarolo was one of the loveliest place we’ve stayed so far. The property is simply beautiful, with nice gardens, terraces and large pool so that you can easily spend the entire day reading by the pool or just relaxing in the garden.
Breakfast is excelent with lots of choices including local produce, fruits, homemade cakes and coffee. Our favourites were the watermelon fresh, mozzarella&ricotta and the freshly baked focaccia with rosemary and almond. Just delicious!
We had a super friendly staff and the owner was very kind and helpful.
The room was comfortable, spacious, clean and had a nice view over the garden area.
Also, the property has a very good location, close to the white cities (Ostuni, Cisternino, Ceglie or Martina Franca) and a short drive to the beach. Don’t miss a visit at Masseria Brancati for a tour of the farm and olive oil tasting!
For dinner there is the option for a tasting menu with a selection of delicious traditional plates and for pairing they have a good selection of puglian wines too.
The thing that I liked the most was the attention for the details in renovating the property and the fact that they kept the authentic/traditional character, avoiding any commercial/touristy elements.
For the sake of being unbiassed, I would mention that the shower set includes only rain shower, with no sliding shower head. Also, I would suggest a bit of improvement regarding the fish menu. None of these however is likely to impact the excellent quality of your stay at Masseria Cervarolo.
I highly recommend Masseria Cervarolo! A trully hidden gem in Valle d'Itria!

Room tip: Room 16 has a lovely terrace overlooking the surroundings.

We have just returned from 4 days in this beautiful masseria. We were 2 families from Australia and were extremely impressed with this resort. Excellent service, very good breakfast and dinners, very clean and comfortable rooms all set in a beautiful estate. Only negative comment was the lack of heating in the pool (which is stunning and very large). Whilst the weather was warm during our stay (late September/early October) unfortunately the pool was too cold to swim in. The pool was a significant reason for us selecting this masseria for our children (and adults) after long days of sightseeing this beautiful part of Italy. Some type of heating to take the chill off would have made a huge difference. The cooking class (complimentary) was excellent with all our group really enjoying it. Highly recommend.

The minute we walked onto the grounds of Masseria Cervarolo, we knew we had made a mistake staying only one night. The welcome was genuine and warm, our room was beautiful and very comfortable, and the entire property offered gorgeous design touches everywhere we looked. It was a treat hanging out at the pool, ordering at the bar, and we loved sitting on our terrace. The meals took place in a lovely setting, and the breakfast spread was beyond bountiful, with a huge array of tasty cakes and other offerings. (Get the recipe for the torte all'arancia!) This is a place we will long remember and want to come back to.

My wife and I had been researching Puglia for some time and settled on a 10 day trip to the central region. At the outset every member of staff we met was absolutely delightful, friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our room (11) which in itself was a delight but extended to a wonderful relaxing terrace over looking the pool and grounds. Our evenings spent on the terrace watching the sun go down before dinner were awesome. Arriving late we had previously reserved a table for dinner. We had read reviews about the tasting menu served every evening with no other choice. In our view the food was creative tasty and showcased the produce from the surrounding countryside. All credit to chef. If ever there was a holiday to focus on tasting wines from the region this was it. Such a fabulous choice of Primitivos and Negroamarnos recommence to us with such passion and knowledge by our sommelier. Breakfast choice was almost overwhelming with such beautiful cakes pastries cheeses and meats we almost didn't know where to start. It certainly set us up for our days discovering the pretty local towns and beaches. When we weren't out we spent every bit of time we could enjoying the fabulous pool and grounds. Sheer bliss peaceful and relaxing. We cannot thank Teo his wife and amazing staff enough for looking after us during our stay, for recommending very interesting trips (Olive tasting at Masseria Brancati) and local restaurants and beaches. Thank you for a fabulous holiday that we shall never forget.

Room tip: 11 with fantastic terrace

After careful review of the many masserias now in central Puglia, especially near Ostuni, we chose Masseria Cervarola for its combination of both traditional trulli and conventional luxury suites and rooms. Incredible and thoughtful integrity in the restoration of this property. Loved the meals in the indoor and outdoor dining rooms and the magnificent, as well as immense, pool facility. The public spaces are lovely and spacious. The design and artwork a real delight. The pics online do not do this property justice. We spent 4 nights and plan to return to this property to enjoy more of Puglia. Excellent staff service at all levels and lovely care taken by Teo and his wife. A wonderful experience providing us with both a strong sense of beautiful Puglia as well as the luxurious and high service standards we seek.

Room tip: Traditional Truli suites are beautiful! Loved our room on the upper floor with a view of the valley. Very quiet at night!
