This medieval market is just wonderful with different foods than many - we especially liked the pita filled with meat, cheese and paprika sauce. The stalls were of course interesting and the children’s area with a hand powered Ferris wheel and carousel just charming. This is a very special market!

The medieval market added a new dimension to this Christmas market. There were travelling minstrels and interesting demonstrations of iron forging and other historic crafts. A live show enthralled the children. All this and live animals at the nativity. Also, great market food, including, a first for us, a meter long sausage on a 1/2 meter bun. The sausage wrapped back on itself, this leaves the best meat to bread ratio we have ever experienced at any Christmas market. Enjoy.

If you are close to Stuttgart in December you must definitely visit it if you like the medieval atmosphere. You can try a lot of snacks, play games and drink some Glühwein! The best place to be before Christmas!

Really enjoyed our trip here. What a great experience to see. Took the time to watch children playing on the medieval games made me feel ten again!!
Good mix of products for sale both old and new. But something we learned more is that these markets are so much more sociable than we expected. Enjoy the company the Gluewhein and food.
Christmas is about the spirit visit the market and top up on some great goodwill.❤

What a market, what a day! Everyone should experience such a Christmas at least once in their lives..it's just what you think it should be! Lots of lights, lots of Christmas decorations, lots of happy people, and best of all, lots of gluwein! When you buy one of the many different types of gluwein you pay extra for the cup...if you want to return it, you'll get your deposit back, but it sure makes a great souvenir of a wonderful day!
