Have to admit we didn’t eat here but we did sit at a table and peruse the menu. As none of our party drink alcohol we naturally looked at the soft drink menu, only to discover they want to charge 5 euros for a tiny bottle of Coca Cola.
Seriously, there were 6 of us, all of whom would need at least 2 bottles each. That would mean we’d need to spend 60 euros between us on fizzy drinks.
I get there is a premium to pay in a restaurant and I’m good with that...to an extent. We all got back up and left where we ate elsewhere and paid a more realistic 3.50 per bottle, still a good markup for the vendor without insulting the customers. Some might be cool with paying so much for so little but many are not, we just refused to play ball. Can only hope their food is good.
