We came here on a very hot day and the temperature inside was very welcome. Our guide was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Beware if you are tall because there were a few places where you really had to bend for 20meteres or so.

Had a lovely tour around the cave led by Nick, the guide. He was enthusiastic, funny and friendly; making sure that all questions were answered and the whole group felt included. The cafe and gift shop were lovely, again with very friendly staff.
The cave itself was cold, so bring a jumper! Hard hats are provided. I appreciate this is through no fault of the company but the only downside to our tour was that there were many young children who would scream, cry, run around and therefore hold up the tour. While this is an exciting experience for children, I feel a slightly older age restriction may be beneficial to avoid disruption.
Overall a great experience, well organised and brilliant guides.

Thank you for your visit, and for your review. We have in the past considered a minimum age restriction, as you suggest. However, in practice it would be difficult to enforce, and would probably generate more disappointment than satisfaction overall. We do ask that those in charge of young children show consideration for all participants on cave tours, whilst understanding that sometimes this is difficult to achieve.

Fabulous place to visit with kids. Lots of interesting things to see and very educational. We throughly enjoyed our visit although as we are all quite tall some bits were a trial but we giggled as we crouched down, thank goodness for hard hats lol.
Kids loved every second, especially laughing at mum and dad. Can’t recommend this enough and it’s good value for money.

the caves are an excellent trip ,we took the grandsons and where impressed ourselves with the caves ,excellent guide who knew her stuff ,half a mile underground and an 80 minute round trip for £28 that's 2 adults and 2 children, well worth seeing
hard hats supplied ,would consider going again after good rain fall as underground waterfalls flow better
