lovely cottage, great location for exploring surrounding area, 5 pubs with in 2 to 10 min walk, only draw backs on the main road so lot of traffic noise and we missed having a garden.

Thank you for your comments. The cottage is on the main road, that's why all the pubs and shops are so accessible ! However it's not exactly the M6 :-)
I'm g;ad you enjoyed your break.

What a delightful stay we had at The Bolthole! This cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break. The property is well presented, clean and very comfortable throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and seats 4. The lounge is warm and cosy with a big comfy sofa, log burning stove, TV and CD player. The main bedroom is lovely with plenty of space, addition seating and good storage. Second bedroom has a bunk bed. The bathroom is clean with a lovely hot shower and good quality towels. Yes there is some road noise but you're slap bang in the centre of Leyburn with all amenities on your doorstep including local pubs, great restaurants, a large well equipped Co-op, Campbell's (with great wines, cheeses, meats etc) and a late opening One-Stop virtually opposite. Would most definitely stay here again!
