“Ideal nice little property for two people.”
Reviewed 16 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We used this property as a base to relax in after walking and visiting places of interest during the day.

The property is tucked away from the main road with views of a green area from the small balcony in the bedroom.

There is a nearby shop with a decent range of goods including the morning papers. There is also a pub just beyond that serves some nice wines, beer and good food. The steak night is a must.

There is no area outside the cottage to sit in and enjoy the sun. However there is a lovely peace garden at the church, which is open to anyone. Its a beautiful place to sit and relax.

If we were to visit Trawden again this cottage would be our first port of call.

“Great place to stay”
Reviewed 14 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

A very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Especially appreciated the washing machine and dryer. Excellent wifi connection. The Trawden Arms is a very short walk away and serves great meals. Friendly and helpful owners. Would definitely stay there again.

“Just perfect.!”
Reviewed 26 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We had a lovely short break which was nice and cozy and comfortable. Cottage was larger than expected and sympathetically furnished. We have already scanned availability for later on in the year. Only one small comment for future visitors - no outside space to sit on a warm evening. This didn't concern us personally.

“It felt like home.”

Building work in our home did not finish on schedule.
We were left looking for accommodation at short notice. This place fits the bill..
It is cosy and comfortable.....and quiet.
The house has everything you need to make you feel at home.
Phone reception is poor, but we have Internet and satellite TV.
On arrival there was fresh milk in the fridge....tea and coffee in the cupboard, a freshly baked loaf of bread on the table a bottle of wine and two glasses.
There are some lovely country walks nearby.......and if you don't want to cook, then the Trawden Arms is just across the road......and the food is delicious there.
We are having a very relaxing time.
