Obvious good location with an eerie sound and feel. You need to have something to cover yourself, even though the hostess provides some accommodation.
Food is very good but you do not go there for the food :)

The setting is unusual but there is no great view. Food is very average and the service is not good. Definitely NOT worth the prices charged. Full of tourists. Locals would demand a far higher standard. Our worst meal in Italy. AVOID.

Yes, the views are truly amazing but the prices are even more flabbergasting. Visiting from overseas and on a Friday I booked in advance and was forced to reserve with a credit card - the cost for cancellation within 48 hrs of arrival being 70 Euros each person. When we arrived there was no a la carte menu only set menus with the minimum price per person a set of 2 courses for 130 Euros - 260 Euros min spend for a couple and that didn't include water or coffee let alone a glass of wine. Food was fine but not worth even a 10th of the price. Total tourist trap.

Here is what you need to know.

- The view is beautiful but there are seagulls EVERYWHERE. They are extremely loud and frankly spoil any serenity
- You are forced to order a minimum of 2 dishes per head for 130 Euros per person. If you decide you want a glass of wine or cocktail or ... water, that will be on top of the per capita fee. So a couple will spend a minimum of 260 euros.
- There is a 75 euro cancellation fee per person. Despite being told by a number of locals that the restaurant was essentially a scam, I took this to mean that perhaps reservations were in high demand and that tourists did enjoy their dinners there. False. Over 70% of the tables were empty while we were there from 7:15-9:00pm. There were only a handful of tourist couples and families sitting solemnly with shell shocked expressions on their faces as they gawked at the profoundly confusing menu and squirmed in their plastic chairs telrying to tabulate how much this tourist trap would set them back.
- The service is blasphemously slow. Although, you do feel quite sorry for the poor waiters because they must field an unbelievable number of complaints from outraged diners who they are powerless to appease. The staff shuffle around with heads hung low, unclear if due to shame or to avoid the 5ft high rocky cave ceiling.
- The food is crap. My pasta was generally fine but at a price tag of 60 euros, a let down. I literally threw my steak over the side of the cliff because I didn’t want to have to explain to the poor sullen waiter that it was simply inedible.

Please PLEASE in the name of all that is holy - do not eat here.
