The main place is stunning and has an excellent position on the island. The staff were all super nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok, actually I missed nothing. The food is ok as well but compared to the rest of the hotel it lags behind.
Unfortunately one of the roofs of a traditional apartement leaks when raining (ok, this happens 3 times a year) and we had to sleep on the floor because the mattress was fully saturated (with water ;) )...
And for the first time in greece everything worked (except the roofs) as expected: airport shuttles, taxis and reservations in other restaurants.
So why 4 of 5 stars? Because of the minimal discount for the lost night, the mediocre food and the lack of flexibility when it comes to the position of sunbeds.

Imerovigli was the perfect location. Great views, but not as hectic as Fira or Oia. Our room was fantastic... outdoor patio and jacuzzi certainly added to it. Bar/restaurant was very good although breakfast left a little to be desired. Pool was amazing although they didn’t have enough lounge chairs. However, you can reserve a cabana for 50€ but includes a bottle of wine and fruit platter so it’s basically a wash. Highly recommend this hotel. It was perfect for our honeymoon stay.

This hotel is gorgeous - the design is clean, simple and fits in beautifully to the stunning landscape around it. The views are spectacular. We loved our room - it was so comfortable and really well designed. The bar did great cocktails and the staff were all super lovely on arrival and during our stay. I agree with other reviews that the food was not up to scratch at all and after one lunch there, we didn't order another meal again. Breakfast was ok - we enjoyed the greek pies on offer. The hotel is very, very expensive so I would have hoped that they would offer better food. Also, complimentary airport/ port transfer, since you're spending so much on the room already. Unfortunately the weather took a turn and it was so windy during our stay that we couldn't really enjoy the outdoor areas or pool but the views were just stunning. One little heads up, each room has a 'private' lounger outdoor area but it's not private at all and is really shared with the room next door. Some sort of foliage separation or similar would likely be appreciated by all guests.

Had a great time here. The room (traditional studio) was very comfortable with a great view. Toiletries and service were nice. Showerhead could use a good de-scaling though.
The staff were always incredibly helpful and friendly. Vicky at breakfast was superb!!
Breakfast buffet was also incredible every day. The little chocolate/donut balls (forget the Greek name) were amazing!
Dinner was nice but had better elsewhere around the village for same or lower cost.

Built into the cliff side and overlooking high above the old volcano, this hotel has pride of place in Santorini! The rooms are modern and comfortable and the service and staff are truly exceptional (you will know their names by the end of your stay). Reception upgraded us to a suite one night because the room we requested was not available for a day. They really went out of their way to accommodate our request. It really is a five star experience. My only recommendation for the hotel would be to upgrade their menu and improve on lunch/dinner, as the food does not live up to the rest of the hotel experience.

Room tip: We stayed in Room 14, overlooking the cliffs
