Cannot speak highly enough of the service at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble. Very professional and yet so friendly. In our opinion the best location and view on the whole island. Spot on for our honeymoon, thank you.

What a beautiful island - Santorini with narrow cobbled streets. We stayed at Honeymoon Petra Villas with friends in the 4 pax Honeymoon Suite. The view was amazing. The staff where attentive to all your needs.
Breakfast was good.
This is a destination for younger people as there are lots & lots of steps it took us 2 days to get used to them.
Fira was beautiful - Oia was beautiful it is such a lively island. The sunsets amazing and the moonrise made my holiday - the moon changed from red to yellow to white.

Another couple noted that they found glass in their bed. It does not surprise me.

Our room was also in disrepair. When one is paying more than $840 euros a night, one expects pure luxury. Instead, our shower did not drain. The room was sandy, and also filled with mosquitos.

When we informed the staff at the front desk, they offered to send house cleaning. We also later spoke with the manager Nikolas. He was sarcastic, rude, and completely unapologetic. He even mocked my husband, who has a disability...

We ultimately decided to leave and move to another hotel. When we did this, they demanded that we pay for the transfer from the port to the hotel. Rather than charging the standard rate of $25 (documented on the price list provided by the hotel), they ironically charge $100 euros.

In addition, please be advised that they hike up the fees for car rentals and tour by $20-$50 to earn commission.

When you watch the video on their website, you don't believe it can actually be that good but it is! What a special place. When we do go back to Santorini, I don't think I can stay at another place - loved it!

Room Tip: The beds weren't as soft as I had hoped.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the villas. The people are warm, friendly and ready to help you relax. We opted for a pickup at the airport and we were so happy we did. I dont know that we would have ever found the place. There are not roadways with street signs once in the village, so kind of hard to find. So save yourself the hassle and just get the hotel to pick you up at the airport.

As for our room, it was nice. We had a room at the very bottom of the cliff with a huge picture window out of our villa. Being at the bottom of the cliff means nobody would need to walk by your room (which is pretty much the case for all others). This was of course a nice advantage, the only disadvantage was walking a lot of stairs to go anywhere. We really didnt mind too much. Just wanted to point out the layout of the hotel to others. If you have trouble with stairs, you will want to request a room higher up.

We spent our first day at the pool lounging around enjoying the AMAZING views and breezes! No kids as this is an adults only hotel. So it was nice to relax and take in my surroundings without screaming children. Pool service was exceptional. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I can not stress this enough. Every server had a warm smile on their face and genuinely happy to be there (at least it seemed that way) Food was good, I had a burger with and fried egg on top and tasty french fries. The pool itself is very deep. Deep enough to dive head first. The water is very cold! We were there in August and it was still ice cold.

Staying in Imerovigli and then visiting Oia and Fira gave us a unique perspective of the island. If you are wanting to get a truer sense of the island, Imerovigli is the place to visit. Oia and Fira have been carved out for tourists. The main walkways are widened and paved whereas Imerovigli still has the original winding walkways up and down. Pretty cool to explore.
