“Fantastic holiday”
Reviewed 7 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

A beautifully spacious chalet with everything you could possibly need. The owners were superbly helpful through the whole booking process, giving us excellent tips along the way. Puy Saint Vincent is great skiing for beginners and intermediates. 18 family members ranging from 4 months to 73 year and we didn't get on top of each other as just so much space. six brand new skiers who made excellent progress.
Only reason didn't give it 5 stars was because we got tired of the 20 min drive to PSV 1600 for ski lessons everyday.

“A truly spectacular chalet - but you do need cars”
Reviewed 2 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

We went to celebrate our daughter Nicola's 40th birthday, 18 of us of all ages and sizes down to one little chap Barnaby of 4 months. It had been a big 9 month build up with Nicola shepherding all the family and the travel, but all the way through the UK-based owner Anton had been wonderfully helpful with advice by email on convenient airports and travel arrangements. We opted to fly to Turin and drive over the mountains for 2 hours, spectacular - and pretty hairy for some, although we were spared snow on the roads, so no need of chains! When we arrived at the chalet (after a stop for children at McDonalds, Briancon, and a phone progress report from Anton), we were weary, but our breath was utterly taken away by this superbly equipped chalet with so many bedrooms and bathrooms on 3 floors, a basement recreation and bar room, plus ski store, to please the most demanding, a hot tub and jacuzzi in the garden, and televisions everywhere, a music centre, not to mention the brilliant kitchen. Nothing has been spared to make this a complete chalet for everyone. We knew we would enjoy our week. no matter what our age and requirement.
We followed advice and quickly went off to the economically priced Puy St Vincent 1600 for lift passes and to a recommended hire shop in Vallouise for ski and boot hire, plus booking some brilliant British/French instructors who work for ESF. All very good, but a most important piece of advice is that you MUST have or hire cars to get about this area. Good shops are close to the chalet in Argentiere 3 kms down the road, but the slopes at Puy St Vincent or any others you may want to visit are at least 15 minutes drive away up steep bendy mountain roads (and obviously tricky if it is snowy, which we did not encounter). Still it's worth the driving and so many of our party of youngsters have had a superb week skiing or learning to ski from scratch. Many memories will be there for years to come. So this is a truly spectacular chalet and we had a wonderful week's celebration for Nicola. Highly recommended - and thanks to Anton and Sarah.

“Fantastic Chalet with something for everyone”
Reviewed 26 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

After a draining drive down from the UK the accommodation was going to be make or break for this holiday.
On Arrival it took us about 2 minutes to all agree this was a fantastic choice.

Chalet Les Vigneaux is a beautiful property, laid out superbly and offers absolutely everything you could need.

If you have looked at the the website or at the listing on Tripadvisor then they hardly do the place justice. Some of the people on this trip have been skiing all over the world for many years and were all in agreement this was the best ski accommodation they'd had.

The Basement area is fantastic, somewhere where you can go in the evenings chill, watch tv, listen to music and natter about your days skiing or in my instance your best fall of the day.

The beauty about a chalet this size is that if you wanted some quiet time there was plenty of room to get away for 5 mins whilst the others mingled.

The bedrooms, dining room, kitchen and living areas were all superbly equipped and laid out well.

The indoor boot area was brilliant meaning we could all put on warm dry gloves and boots each morning.

We had 1 rest day during the week and sat outside on one of the several amazing balconies offering fantastic views of which I could never tire of.

Located just 10-15 minutes from the slopes it was perfect, and we were all very impressed with the skiing which catered for our wide range of abilities.

All in all a beautiful holiday home and must also mention that Anton was very very helpful with instructions all the way through the build up to the trip.

“Amazing”
Reviewed 26 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Stayed here with a group of 15 friends and family. the drive to the place was made a lot easier with constant updates on the route and weather conditions from the owner. After our long drive from Calais we entered the chalet and were amazed how lovely the place was not only the stunning views but also the standard of the chalet. The number of beds and bathrooms suited us perfectly. The kitchen was excellent and had plenty of storage space for the food that we had brought. The local supermarket is only 2 mins down the road by car and is reasonable and well stocked. The rest of the chalet was brilliant the bar down in the basement give you somewhere to go to relax and chill, the fire place also allowed for a relaxed atmosphere to catch up on any tv your missing from the uk. I have skied now for over 30 years all over the world and the ski area of Puy St Vincent really is a hidden gem its big enough to have a massive adventure but not to big you feel lost. The lift pass prices are the cheapest I have come across. I recently went to 3 valleys and Puy St Vincent was 100 Pounds cheaper per person result. This was a first class holiday made by how amazing this Chalet is and the ski area's around.

“Fab comfortable clean, great location”
Reviewed 13 October 2014 for a stay in April 2012

Spent a week here the facilities are great you need a car and you can get to at least 2 or 3 resorts very easily for ski. When you come home you are tranquil and we had lovely dinner parties and enjoyed the apres ski!
