Stayed here with a group of 15 friends and family. the drive to the place was made a lot easier with constant updates on the route and weather conditions from the owner. After our long drive from Calais we entered the chalet and were amazed how lovely the place was not only the stunning views but also the standard of the chalet. The number of beds and bathrooms suited us perfectly. The kitchen was excellent and had plenty of storage space for the food that we had brought. The local supermarket is only 2 mins down the road by car and is reasonable and well stocked. The rest of the chalet was brilliant the bar down in the basement give you somewhere to go to relax and chill, the fire place also allowed for a relaxed atmosphere to catch up on any tv your missing from the uk. I have skied now for over 30 years all over the world and the ski area of Puy St Vincent really is a hidden gem its big enough to have a massive adventure but not to big you feel lost. The lift pass prices are the cheapest I have come across. I recently went to 3 valleys and Puy St Vincent was 100 Pounds cheaper per person result. This was a first class holiday made by how amazing this Chalet is and the ski area's around.

“Fab comfortable clean, great location”
Reviewed 13 October 2014 for a stay in April 2012

Spent a week here the facilities are great you need a car and you can get to at least 2 or 3 resorts very easily for ski. When you come home you are tranquil and we had lovely dinner parties and enjoyed the apres ski!

“A great place for family or friends (or both)”
Reviewed 7 February 2013 for a stay in February 2013

Booked this place with 9 friends. What a great place to stay.
Yes, I know, its not ski in-ski out and you do certainly need a car, but being so close to the excellent family friendly resorts of Puy St Vincent, Pelvoux and Serre Chevalier, all with great parking, its really not an issue.
Clean, well appointed, modern with traditional twists and a basement bar for evening ents, you really cant beat it!
The ski store is a great idea, putting on warm boots in the morning rather than leaving them in the car was a bonus.
The linen was new, modern and most importantly for me, cotton.
Nightlife is limited, but with the DIY bar in the basement, as with most ski vacations, you make your own entertainment.
This place is fantastic, as useful for a great holiday as an Elephant would be to the fire service.
