The name of this little town means 'suffering' but weary travelers need not do what the Voortrekkers did when they brought their ox-wagons across the mountains. Cafe Crust is only two blocks off the main drag, has a calm and delightful atmosphere, seating inside or out, and a careful menu for all tastes. We had a pizza which was excellent (although an unusual rectangular shape and perhaps too much cheese) and then stopped for a very good breakfast indeed on our way back from Kruger's Orpen Gate, served by cheerful, happy, helpful staff.
