Corniola Wines

Lucia and Vince are the owners of this small winery, very friendly, enthusiastic and very pleasant. We left with a bottle of their Petite Verdot for our trip.

The people whom own this one are just down to earth people, the place is certainly not flash like a lot of the winery places, but hey its all about the wines i guess.

lovely people whom are very helpful and provide a very personal service and no tasting ever a problem at all.

While touring the Yarra we were lucky enough to find Corniola Wines run by husband and wife team. We were greeted so warmly and before we knew it were offered cheese and crackers to supplement our wine tasting. We tried some delightful wines and bought a Dolce Rosso, petit Verdot and Sangiovese. We also got to sample delicious home made olives made with their secret recipe. Great winery and amazing hospitality

Mr Corniola is very friendly and like to share his knowledge when I ask . I have learnt from him how wine is made, and exchange tasting experience with him.
Though the facilities may not be impressive comparing to more established winery, you will definitely know wine better if you ask questions .So, if you want to know more about wine and get good wine which is reasonably priced , Corniola winery is a must go.

We just visited Corniola winery, we were met by Lucy our delightful hostess who allowed us to taste some of their wonderful wines. The tasting room is in their wine making shed which is not pretentious but is a comfortable friendly environment to taste some very nice and varied wines. My Wife particularly like the sweeter desert wines and their version of Champagne. My Son in Law was taken by their varied reds. The wine tasting was complimented with some cheese and crackers. It was a very pleasant experience and the wines are quite well priced for a vineyard. I would highly recommend a trip there, we will be back.
