This house is on the high street and free to enter. Although there is not a huge amount to it is well worth a visit and very interesting. The walled garden is a delight and the people who run it are very passionate and helpful.

Have been to Rochester many times and not seen this open. What a treat! No entry charge and whilst it is small it gives you another insight into Rochester’s history seen through the eyes of Charles Dickens. Well worth a visit if you’re passing. Lovely gardens too.

Visited here today with my hubby. Both of us like the work of Dickens and history, so this was a good find for us. The story of Richard Watts was extremely interesting. The garden was beautiful. A delightful place.
