We visited as a last minute booking for a Sunday roast - £7.95 with a choice of meats. I was dubious at this price being quite fussy with my meat. I had the lamb and my husband the beef and both were lovely. No fat, no chewy meat. All veg was crisp not soggy. The cheese board was fantastic. At least 7 cheeses and a good portion of each, my husband was unable to finish it. Basket of biscuits all for £4.95. The presentation and garnish was also very good. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend and would revisit. The atmosphere of the pub was very friendly.

Being the local watering hole I would be a little bias. But it is good food and service even when I don't book sunday roast and just stroll in and get sorted no fuss.
