“Wow, a home away from Home!”

My family and I stayed at Seagull Cottage for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The house is amazing with nothing you could think of missing. We had mixed weather which can be tricky with young kids but the basement playroom kept them occupied however when the sun came out you could drive to the beach in 3mins or go to Captain Digbys for a slap up meal. There are great information packs in the house with Tracey available if you have any ad-hoc questions. Wifi availability also meant Mum & Dad could watch a nice movie while the kiddies slept (in very comfy beds) :)

Our only issue is when can we get time off work/school to go again and stay longer. Highly recommended.

“Idyllic & Charming”
Reviewed 2 February 2014 for a stay in August 2013

The week my partner and I spent at seagull cottage can only be described with one word: idyllic.

The property was in excellent condition and we felt at home from the moment we set foot. The decor is fresh and modern with a subtle theme of the sea through out. The garden is spacious and private and we enjoyed many a BBQ in the evening sun.

The town of Broadstairs itself is picturesque, peaceful and friendly. There are many restaurants by the seafront with countess quaint shops selling everything from books to shells.

If you are one for walking we found the paths along the beach and cliff tops are accessible and well maintained and we enjoyed our adventures down the coast to find little beach bars to grab an ice cream and a punnet of chips.

A short drive away was Margate & Ramsgate, larger towns than Broadstairs but none the less charming. At Margate we visited the Turner Gallery & at Ramsgate the historic port.

Any how we could go on forever here just go visit and experience this charming little escape yourselves!

“An excellent stay”
Reviewed 2 February 2014 for a stay in July 2013

We had a fantastic few days in this property! It was very tastefully decorated and equipped with everything we needed and more. The kitchen area is a great sociable space, very bright and spacious. It's positioned in a lovely quiet area, with a local shop and a quiet pub only two minutes away. We drove to the main beach and town each day, and this took about five minutes. There are a number of restaurants, quaint shops and pubs, as well as a lovely harbour area. the property has a superb garden also, which offered good privacy. Our six year old loved the table football in the games room/cellar. We thought having a separate room for the children was a great idea, especially if the weather wasn't good, they could just go off into their own den. We would highly recommend this property.

“Great vacation, nice location”
Reviewed 10 January 2014 for a stay in September 2013

My wife and I stayed for 5 days in September 2013. Bags of room in an extremely comfortable house. Quiet location close to amenities and lovely local pub. Found the whole experience very restful, extremely enjoyable, Broadstairs is a lovely place to visit.
