Good B & B, good breakfast, very central, close to the water (5 min. to walk) to the center walks takes about 15 min, not far from the train station (about 15-20 min. walking). Good value for money.Parking spaces

I stayed two nights at Hotel Valentina, a two-star bed & breakfast. The room was a good size and simple, but well-appointed, and included a small room safe, fridge, and I think, beach towels. The bathroom was bright, modern, roomy enough, and very clean, and definitely one of the better ones I have seen in Italy. The area of the hotel was excellent, in that it was a block from the beach promenade, a couple of blocks to the actual beach, and about a 10 minute walk to the old town centre. The area was safe in the day and evening, which was very important to me given that I was travelling alone. In the morning, there was a simple but more than adequate breakfast served inside or outdoors. Angela, the owner, and her parents were wonderful hosts who helped me with directions, things to do in the area, and generally made me feel very welcomed, and Angela spoke good English, as well as German from what I could see. I wish I had actually stayed longer than I did, and I would definitely go back. The price/value ratio was just right. I spoke to a number of other guests from Germany, who all loved the hotel, usually stayed a week at a time, and came back year after year. Overall, the Hotel Valentina is a great place to stay and I would definitely return -- very friendly, great rooms and amenities especially for a 2-star hotel, very clean, and in a pretty and safe neighbourhood. I think this hotel is best for couples, business, and solo trips -- it's a quiet place to enjoy and there are other hotels more set-up to accommodate families with children. The only down side for some might be the early check-out at 10:00, but it didn't bother me.

Room tip: There is some construction going on behind the hotel on another property, so things are a little loud in the day (working hours), but I did not find it problematic given that I was up fairly early and on my way enjoying the sights.

We arrived in Peschiera early, before the check-in time. The receptionist at the hotel was happy to give us the room which was empty at the time early in the morning. The room was quite nice and suited our needs, although the toilet paper was a bit insufficient and the towels were a bit strange (made from a different material than usual). The breakfast was also very good - we only wanted some brioches and yoghurt, but we were also offered salami and cheese. The location was okay, the beach and the historic centre of Peschiera were within walking distance. Overall, we had a very nice stay, although having in mind a price which was higher than in most other places in Italy, the quality/price ratio is probably not among the best.
