Came across this restaurant after walking around looking for a place for our last meal of our holiday. Great service, lovely setting and fantastic food. I had calimari to start which was the best I've ever had, my fiancé had the king prawns in garlic sauce which was also gorgeous. We both had the fillet steak with Diane sauce and it was just as good as everyone else had said. The house red wine was very nice too and all was very reasonable priced. If ever in Faliraki again, we would definitely visit this place again! Thanks Opera!

We were persuaded to go here by the taxi driver who knew the owner.

The setting was lovely, stands put against the rest, and although the upstairs (outside)was closed for the evening, was still a romantic set up.

The waitees/sevices was great, not over the top, to the point and prompt.

The menu is not huge bit had an adequate section. Husband plumped for the steak Diane and I the steak and prawns.

These came quickly and the steaks we tender nd cooked to our requirement. It is with sharing that these are not the plump large pieces of fillet we are used to in the u.k but more of a sirloin, in appearance, however just as tender as back home.

These are also cooked slightly differently to what we are used to, usually having a good level of Browning/chargrilling on the outside where as these were lighter coloured and felt more been broiled than seared/finished off in oven. This didn't take away the taste though.

My sauce was a little flavourless, but still provided moisture. Diane sauce was not a traditional Diane, more of a garlic mushroom sauce, but was delicious.

The meals came with potatoes and a cold cous cous, cucumber, tomato type small salad. The felt an odd combination and would be been better with simple good side salad of some vegetables.

The house wine was good, as was the selection of beer (Went for a mythos!).

There was only a small selection of dessert which none of which tickled our fancy.

It would also be nice to b offered some nivbles/bread etc originally to add to the 5 are service/experience that they are striving for.

We thought the prices were a little top side for some of the meals, ours cost around €65 for 2 mains & drink which you can get really top quality teams in the UK for the same price.

All in all, good, tasty food on a nice atmosphere if you want something that feels bit more upmarket/special that the flurry or touristic/cheap eats in Faliraki.

We came to Rhodes and stayed at the Elysium resort, which is beautiful but some of the menu food prices are a bit steep (even for a 5 star gaff). We decided to to venture into Falaraki.... Having walked through the main strip we settled on the pleasant looking Opera Restaurant, and we weren’t disappointed!

-Warm Welcome and send off
-Attentive staff
-Delicious Food
-Generous Portions & Price
-Lots if staff readily available although the venue was busy

After an Excellent meal I requested to speak to the owner, it turned out the chap serving us was the owner (I asked someone else who the owner was to verify)!

Share Brilliance we will be back, thanks Team! #Terminator #SimplySimplyLovely #seeyousoon
