As we had never stayed in Rhodes before, we didn't know what to expect or whether we had chosen the right hotel. We were so pleased! The location of the hotel is perfect - all of the bars and restaurants are minutes away and the beach is a short stroll. The bus stops for Rhodes Town, Lindos and Anthony Quinn Bay (amongst other places) are less than a 5 minute walk.

The hotel was clean and the service was great. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we were put in another room without a balcony - however this was rectified asap in the morning and we were both given free wifi access (wifi in the rooms is €10 per week each, but there is free wifi in the reception.)

We went half board and we were so glad we did because each night we were able to try an assortment of hot and cold Greek dishes, none of which were repeated and all tasted great. The breakfast was OK (cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bread etc.)

Would recommend for couples in particular who want to be in a quiet hotel close to the nightlife of Faliraki!

Debbie and I have just come back from two weeks at the Orion hotel in Faliraki and all I can say is what a wonderful stay.

The hotel is spotlessly clean with very comfortable rooms, the hotel is a 10 minute walk from the main strip where all the pubs and clubs are, so far enough away to have peace and quiet but near enough to join the fun.

The beach is a short walk and what a lovely beach it is.

The pool area at the hotel is clean with lots of sunbeds available, the pool bar is superbly run and does some wonderful food, and Maria if you read this you are a legend.

George (the owner) thank you for a fantastic two weeks, we will definitely be back next year.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very similar

Just spent a week at the Orion Hotel in Faliraki and was extremely pleased to have chosen this one.

Although basic, (and, which is normal mostly for Greece), simply furnished but spotlessly clean with everything you need for a relaxing break.

Beds were extremely comfortable, good powerful shower pressure, and rooms very quiet.
The maid was in every day changing towels and bed sheets.(and she was lovely, could'nt speak English but always had a smile for us)

We were on the ground floor, and with the patio door closed we couldnt hear a thing going on round the pool area.

A smallish telly which kept us up to date with daily news.

We were on half board and the food was fine, not gourmet but fine, and we always found something. The only thing I would have liked would have been some fresh fruit for breakfast.

The pool is wonderful!! Big and very clean and the perfect temperature. Loads of sunbeds for everyone and no-one leaving towels on them for hours.

The very best part of this hotel is without doubt the staff. Don't think Ive ever came across a more friendly, efficient and hard working bunch of people.

Loved the little chef who twice opened a bottle of wine for us which we bought from the little supermarket across the road.

Loved also the efficiency and knowledge shown by Sampika on reception, always ready to help and always with a huge smile.

My very favourite though was 2 of the bar staff at the pool, Christos and Maria, who were friendly and extremely hard working, absolutely nothing was a problem for them.
Maria greeted us every day with a smile, and some friendly words, asking if she could do anything for us, or asking what our plans were for the day. She appeared to be very interested in our wellbeing!! demonstrating wonderful customer service and is an absolute credit to the hotel.

If we ever went back to Faliraki, this is without doubt the hotel we would choose.

We arrived later on In the night about 1am and the bar was still open and we were allowed some food after a long day travelling which was great. The rooms are basic but very clean, fresh bedding and towels everyday. The pool area is fantastic, music on all day not too loud and mixed so enjoyable for everyone. We had bed and breakfast however the breakfast wasn’t too good from the actual hotel however there is a pool bar which does food as well so we just had food there most days which was amazing food and not too pricey either. The staff at the pool bar were amazing, so helpful with everything, nothing was too much, didn’t get all their names but Maria was one of them and she made our holiday. About 5mins walk from the beach and the strip, plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from, the hotel is just enough out the way so you can’t hear any noice from the bars. Me and my boyfriend will definitely be returning.

When arrived we checked in with ease, the woman behind the desk was really polite, helpful & happy to see us even it being so late at night.
our room was very basic. Had a balcony, tv, kettle & plenty of storage space, it even had air-con which was free. the bed were a little hard but the pillows were soft.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, had a 4 min walk to the beach, about a 10 min walk into the town centre (where its full of bars & restaurants) also it's about an 20 min car drive to the old town which was superb.
