We booked a "cottage" that looked pretty good on line. Upon arrival, we discovered that the cottages were actually the older rooms on the property. Even though the decor was a little tired, the room was clean and spacious, so we settled in for our vacation. On day 3, the air conditioner ceased to function. While the repairman was busy, we spent time at the pool and on the beach. Repair finished, we changed and went out to dinner. When we returned, once again the room was broiling and the air conditioner was flashing a code. The hotel manager immediately offered us an upgrade to a villa, assisted with our luggage, and checked on us repeatedly to be sure we were happy. The villa was beautiful, rocking chair and hammock on the porch and a view of the ocean!
On day 6, I became ill and sent my husband in search of tea and crackers. The staff once again went out of their way to take care of me, sending ginger ale, rolls, tea, and then checking up on me and delivering more tea bags, unbelievable service!
