“Ladies ride”

Hunter Valley Horseriding and Adventures
Reviewed 12 March 2018

Having one nervous rider was always going to be a challenge, however, Leah was fantastic & all the ladies enjoyed their experience. Thankyou for keeping her reassured & comfortable.
Totally enjoyed my own ride on the awesome Axle! I will be bringing my family back to explore further afield.

Thank Lyndall L

Took out daughter (8years old) for her first ever horse ride to the these guys on the weekend. What an amazing place, she was the only one out on the ride and the guide walked her around the property for close to double the time we paid for. Amazing location, amazing horse, amazing staff. Highly recommend this place for all levels of horse riding. My daughter was made to feel extremely comfortable and was trotting with the horse by herself by the end. The Guide was amazing and made our daughter feel so special.

Will be back next time to boom even longer.

The girls wanted to go horse riding and this was the only one open at the time. We paid for a 1 hour ride and got about 30 minutes of riding. They didn't get to canter the horses. Unfortunately there was a huge family who wanted to take photos of each person sitting on the horses prior to our ride. This pushed our time futher back and we didn't get a full hour. The people are very friendly but they need to be sterner with people who aren't riding amd they should give you an hours ride when that's what you pay for.

The horses had issues like biting each other or being restless as the management is not able to manage them. Throughout the trip there were lots of breaks as the horses does not want to move at all. So do not expect it to be a full one and half hour ride.

I'm not a horse rider, but we did it as part of a group and it was very easy. The women who run this center are so lovely, very encouraging and helpful for new riders. Lea especially was very friendly!
