The owner was nice but at first he didn't told us the house was divided, on the ad's pictures, it appears like it's a whole house but is not, then the ad says the house has a parking space, which isn't the case, he later said that we had to pay for our parking in a supermarket that is two and a half blocks away from the house and closed by midnight and by the end of the rental he would write a check returning the money spent on parking, but those are the things that should say the ad. The apartment was clean when we arrived but it is small if you go with more than 6 people. The neigborhood isn't that bad but walking on the street by night may be a little bit scary. Another thing we didn't like was the laundry room, you have no access to it and the machines are coin operated! I've stayed in other places in nyc and the laundry room are free to use! The bathrooms are well maintained and all the rooms have t.v.. Overall I can say the apartment isn't bad at all but for a small family who don't need to wash clothes, aren't renting a car or driving one, but the price and the location didn't help much, for the price we payed we thought we had a bigger place and not a divided house turned into two apartments and which our neighbors left food stench all over the house!
