La Sagesse was a perfect get-away for my husband and me for our anniversary celebration! We had a wonderful time. May is off-season and there was hardly anybody there this week so we basically had the place and beach to ourselves. The room was very tidy - nothing fancy- but comfortable. Our bed was expertly made every day while we were at breakfast along with a good room tidying. Our room opened up to the beach so we slept to the crashing of the waves. Magical!
The food was excellent. The restaurant is open air and right on the beach so you dine with a beautiful view and a sea breeze!
While we were there Mike, the owner, was away but he left it in the very capable hands of Samantha and Eldridge. Both were so personable and felt like old friends by the time we left. They went out of their way to help us with anything we needed like a burnt out light bulb or some aloe for my sunburned legs. Every one working there, in fact, were friendly and helpful.
We hated to leave and will dream of going back! (We loved exploring the island too. We found the people in Grenada to be friendly and helpful).More
