We visited for three nights as part of a tour. We were a bit nervous beforehand seeing some previous reviews but our concerns were soon put at rest by the wonderful setting, atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. Most of the rooms are in a separate building from the main hotel but this gives it a good character. The hotel is a bit quirky and not everything is perhaps the standard of other hotels but this adds to its charm. Large wooden doors open onto the balcony and all the rooms have the view of the valley and mountains. WiFi is available using a card in the main building. The buffet is quite good for breakfast and the evening and the upstairs bar welcoming and friendly. Being a smaller hotel makes it a better experience. There is a goid pool although we did not have much chance to use it. The hotel is a few miles outside the town of Vinales which is well worth a visit. There are some nice places to eat however just down the road from the hotel. In summary, if you are looking for a unique experience rather than a standard hotel stay, this is the place for you.

By Cuban standards, this hotel was very good. We got a room on the 2nd floor in the main building, with a small balcony and the most fantastic view over the valley. The room was large and clean, the bathroom old-fashion but clean and with warm water. There is a nice outdoor swimming-pool. Staff is friendly and speak English. Breakfast buffet was good with various choices of warm and cold dishes.

A tired hotel hanging onto it’s past. In need of a complete refresh. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom a bit like the old classic cars, working but antique in looks and functionality.

Overpriced for sure but as a bit of a hide away for the odd day it is good. Food was ok and again overpriced, but so are most of the big hotels.

The views from here are truly the reason to stay.

I would return again.

Lovely location but the whole place needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to modern standards. The view from the room and the hotel is fantastic but it looks old and in need of decoration and refurbishment. Food was average at best.

The hotel location is pretty good with a beautiful view of the valley, but it has a basic room. Arriving at the hotel on Sunday afternoon is busy full with locals who use the swimming pool but around 5 pm the day trippers are gone.

Friendly staff speaks basic English which is good for a tourist who doesn't speak Spanish.

Our room is allocated at the last block away from the main entrance.

Room - not overly big, two queen size bed, television, refrigerator, big mirror, balcony with beautiful view at Vinales Valley.

Bathroom - is not super clean molds on the wash basin and shower ceiling. Toiletries and hairdryer are available, hot water as well.

Inside the main building, you'll find a tour desk. And at the reception counter they sell Etecsa card for internet for 2 Cuc they charged double than at any Etecsa offices. There is a hotspot in the hotel lobby.

They have a restaurant inside as well which good for people without a car, we haven't dined here. The center of Vinales has lined up with restaurants but is quite far from this hotel.

Limited buffet breakfast serves from 7:30 which included in our room rate.

The hotel location is good value for money, but the cleanliness of hotels in Central America is not to compare to European standards.
