We went to restaurant due to recomendation in our Casa. But as learned, they were sending there a lot of tourists. OK, food was good and it was a lot of it, but price was high. You can eat the same/better in the center, but for much less.

Stayed just for one night and were overwhelmed with Diana's hospitality. Beautiful rooms, air conditioning, hot water, great coffee in the morning - everything you could ask for. Would highly recommend.

Very nice rooms, clean, airco working and clean good functioning shower. Diane and her family are giving you a very warm welcome with good tips for activities to do around. Lovely breakfast and very nice diner! Diane also arranged or next staying in Pinar del Rio and a taxi. Would love to go back one day.

I have very mixed feeling about El Campesino and Diana. The house itself is clean and modern (for Cuban conditions). We had room on the ground floor with two double beds and bathroom. It was hard to take proper shower as the pressure was very poor and there was little water but at least warm. We ate breakfasts and dinners at the house and for langosta we paid 15 CUC per person which in Cuba is very expensive! I have to admit that it was good but for that price you eat in luxury restaurant.... we took a bottle of white wine that in Spain costs 3 euros in the supermarket and at the end Diana charged as 20 CUC which is definitely a robbery. This place is a tourist trap, it's expensive and she recommends you horse riding excursion with her cousin for 30 CUC (another ridiculous price for what it is) and taxi transport to Cayo Jutias which turns out to be a 20 places old ruined bus and the journey is 3h in very uncomfortable conditions. If you still plan to go to this house and you are looking for economic way of spending your holidays, I strongly advise you to organize everything yourself. You can negotiate all the prices with local providers.
