What a marvellous find this was, thanks to other reviews we decided to try this restaurant and were not disappointed, the staff were attentive and helpful, the fish and seafood choice was great, we had langoustine and scallops for starters with whole Bream and muscles for mains. All cooked perfectly and washed down with an excellent bottle of sancere. It really was seafood heaven.
We were only able to do this because they allow dogs, our little Westie was well behaved and sat quietly under the table. Thank you Starfish

Great meal. Starters of whitebait and haggis we’re equally good and the fish stroganoff was exceptional. Lovely puds too especially the chocolate pot. We were a large group and the service was efficient and helpful even to the extent of recommending walks for the next day. Highly recommended.

On wandering around Tarbert we came across this quite trendy looking eatery.
The staff were friendly and there was a good atmosphere in here even though we were eating early.
The soup was traditional with an odd name Cullen skunk or something like this. Despite the name it was delicious and creamy and definitely a good meal in itself. The only thing I didn't like was the white bread. The brown was lovely. I can never understand why bread isn't homemade in such a good restaurant. The main course was delicious. Linguine with hazelnut and cauliflower. It was a great combination. My friend had fish pie which looked also wonderful. I am afraid we didn't do the main course justice as we were so full from the soup.
A very tasty and enjoyable meal.

Visited after some time -same friendly, warm hospitality, service and quality. Saying the food is great imo doesn't cover it- awesome more like.
Can't recommend highly enough.
