“EXCELLENT!!!”

My husband and I stayed here for a 5 week period mid January-mid February and all I can say is the whole experience was fantastic! The apartment is in an idyllic location by a little stream (complete with ducks) with access from the lounge area via French doors. The apartment is decorated and furnished to a high standard, well equipped with good quality kitchen utensils, cooking equipment (Bosch), bedding and towels. Two beautiful en suite bedrooms and an ample lounge area. A bright and airy well lit apartment in a beautiful and friendly village only 6 miles from Guildford and less than an hour's drive to Brighton and the South coast. The surrounding area is outstanding too with quite a number of National Trust parks and historic places to visit. Plenty of local mapped walks too! Beautiful!

Carol the owner was fantastic! She wasn't at all imposing (unlike some owners/landlords) and even gave us a full refund when our stay was suddenly cut short due to unforeseen circumstances. It is so refreshing to meet people who are not always "on the make" in today's world! A big THANKYOU Carol!

All in all it was home from home. Highly recommended!!

“A Perfectly Magical Christmas, Birthday and New Year”
Reviewed 6 February 2015 for a stay in December 2014

A wonderful experience from beginning to end. In the months leading up to and during our stay Carol couldn't have been more helpful or responsive - even providing Christmas tree lights and a wreath upon request!! The apartment is set in a beautiful location - in the heart of one of England's prettiest villages. It is very well equipped and soon became home from home for two weeks - warm and cosy. Convenient local shops, lovely Church, enchanting White Horse pub, great local walks and 'a must visit' Kinghams Restaurant - not forgetting the picturesque stream and resident ducks alongside the apartment.

A perfectly magical location for Christmas, Birthday and New Year celebrations. Would highly recommend staying here - even for just a weekend!!

“Lovely little village”
Reviewed 18 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

A lovely stay, well fitted out. The children loved the ducks by the back windows. The cafe across the road has some great food too. Pretty little village not too far from Guildford.

“Cosy and charming apartment”
Reviewed 31 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We spent a very comfortable week at Beaufield Mews. The location in the centre of Shere was excellent offering easy accessibility and easy walks around the village. The apartment was well equipped providing all immediate needs for a short term stay. We had a very relaxing time and enjoyed the quiet location with just the sound of the stream and occasional quacking of ducks outside!

“Perfect location for a couple to see southeastern England”
Reviewed 9 October 2014 for a stay in October 2014

Bright and sunny flat, overlooking stream with entertaining ducks, is set in a small village with surprisingly ample parking. Interiors are like new, very, very comfortable beds, modern Bosch kitchen appliances. Fast Wi-Fi. Oversized refrigerator and freezer. Ample supplies for kitchen and bath. (We didn't have to buy anything but food) The flat is clean and well laid out for a 2 bedroom flat.
Carol Myson, the owner, is more like a hostess than a landlord. She has been most helpful and responsive, even giving us some fresh farm eggs.

Liked best: comfortable beds and modern, well-stocked kitchen
Liked least: pathway between flat and stream in used by some residents, a minor privacy issue (there are drapes on the windows)
