“A peaceful retreat”

We stayed for three nights at Parsonage Barn Annexe and found it to be a lovely, peaceful retreat. We appreciated the fresh flowers and milk waiting for us and the selection of local maps and leaflets. The Barn, is at the end of a gravel lane adjoining the owner's house and there are many footpaths close by, including the 1066 walk. There is an excellent pub, The Queens Head, just two minutes walk away, which has a lovely garden overlooking the Sussex countryside towards Rye. The accommodation was very comfortable with a small kitchen area, large lounge and bedroom and adjoining bathroom with a small shower cubicle. We particularly appreciated being able to sit outside on sunny mornings and evenings, and watch the chickens pecking around, as well as the occasional visit of the owner's two friendly dogs.
