My husband and i spent 2 nights at this gorgeous hotel last week. It's setting is just outside of the main streach in Voss, it's on a farm overlooking the mountains and rivers of Voss- stunning!

The hotel itself is a boutique hotel, our room was utterly charming and spacious , with all modern amenities and an insanely comfy bed.

The hotel prides itself on having the personal touch and it really achieves that. The owner Svein and his wife are such hospitible hosts, whilst also being discreet. You can tell they care immensely about the enjoyment of each of their guests and will bend over backwards to ensure people are enjoying their stay. It is a family owned and run hotel and that is apparent from the level of detail and service that we received. For example i only drink soya milk, so by the next morning someone had been to the shops and ensured it was there by breakfast to go in my coffee.

I've written a separate review about the restaurant ( delicious) but the breakfast was also tasty, plentiful and the salmon delicious ,my husband said the bacon is also really good. They also grow strawberries on site, possibly the best i've ever tasted!

This is the perfect hotel to sit back, unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet and the stunning views of Voss.

Enjoy.

This hotel is set in a beautiful location with great views. The rooms are all updated and the staff is amazing.
We stayed here twice, at the beginning and end of our trip.
There is a nice bar and restaurant within the hotel.
Catch a taxi at the train station because it’s a bit of a walk- up hill.
I would highly recommend staying here if you visit Voss.

We stayed for one night arriving very late but welcomed warmly by the owner who waited up for us.....

The room is lovely, romantic, cozy, heated bathroom floor, with a shabby chic style......

Breakfast was good especially the fresh strawberry sauce from their farm.

A nice place to relax and unwind after sightseeing......I wish we had a couple days to enjoy this special property .

The hotel is wonderful with all the meanings of the word .. I stayed in it for one night only, but I liked very very wonderful location .. The room is large and the bathroom as well .. Everything is clean and neat .. Also liked the details of the decor is simple, elegant mattress .. Bedding very comfortable and very good service .. Breakfast is good but very simple and not varied, but good in general .. The hotel is close to the lake and the river and the wonderful museum do not forget to visit .. The hotel is a candidate for those looking for a charming romantic place or spend a honeymoon .. The hotel deserves a five-star wall.

If you look at the home page of this place you will see a grey weathered wall that seems to belong to an old lean-to for cows. In reality it is a well functioning little hotel on the mountain side with a breathtaking view, good beds and wonderful food made by an artist☺
Also, there are nice staff taking care of you and making you feel welcome.
