The best thing i can say is that the owner and his parents are lovely, genuine and helped us with any query immediately. They were friendly and happy to help. I even needed a dentist while i was there and i got sorted within two hours with the help of the owner, i was very happy with that.
I felt the appartment we got, one out of three was a little damp and the quality of the linen and towels were poor. Also note, keep the cool air fan on as i woke up one morning with 12 mosquito bites!! The outside space where the table and chairs were was very dusty where i needed to wash them before we could use. One of the main attractions for us when booking was the traditional style building, i expected to have the dome shape on the inside but it had a regular flat roof. Hardly too awful but just my expectation from what i read. Given it was typical for the area i thought the novelty would be lovely.
The shared pool area is lovely and very well maintained and very pretty.
The shared laundry room and gym also very good.
Our biggest draw back was not being able to walk to any bar or restaurant at night.
We both like to eat out while we are away most nights and walking for us was not an option. I understood the nearest restaurant was walking distance but there are laneways that are not lit up at night and we were not willing to walk them. It felt too isolated for that.
We did drive to the nearest restaurant and while the people were lovely we were the only diners there all night. For us the only option was driving into Martina Franca which meant one person could not have a glass of wine.
All in all it didnt work for us however if you were content to stay in at night & BBQ or drive to restaurants that would be fine.
