“Pleasant apartment, lovely views, very helpful owner”
Reviewed 2 January 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We enjoyed our stay here. As we were two families sharing, the layout worked well for us. The owner was very helpful throughout responding very quickly to emails and providing us with lots of useful information. We managed without a car, although the walk back from town takes a bit of puff if you choose to walk after the buses finish. The local people were very friendly, and as we only had a very short stay It would definitely be a place we may return to.

“A lovely mountain retreat!”
Reviewed 16 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Have just returned from a wonderful week's stay in Apartment Snowfall. It's setting is idyllic, with beautiful views of the mountains. It is a lovely stroll down to the village, which has a variety of restaurants, bars and shops to choose from, as well as a swimming pool (where men must wear trunks, rather than swimming shorts). Other activities are also available in the village, including archery, mini golf and parasailing, to name just a few. There was lots going on in the village, including markets and evening concerts. The cable car is also conveniently situated at the bottom of the hill from the apartment, offering a very scenic ride up to the top.

The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for upto 8 people. It has a lovely updated kitchen, which is fully equipped, as well as two refurbished bathrooms. It also benefits from satellite TV.

Le Grand- Bornand is just a 30min drive from the beautiful town of Annecy, so we were easily able to get down to the beach on very hot days.

Fantastic location for a summer getaway, we would book again.

“Huge Apartment in Perfect Location”
Reviewed 7 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

Apartment Snowfall is a spacious, well maintained apartment with all you could need for a perfect trip to the Alps. It has three big double bedrooms, a sleep mezzanine, two bathrooms and ample comfy seating for eight adults. It has a great balcony with views up and down the valley, all with mod cons including high speed Wi-Fi as well as UK and European satellite TV.

Private parking is right out front, but no car is necessary during your stay due to the central location of the apartment - my friends and I could walk to the cable car in about 5mins, albeit the ski bus stops about 20mtrs away from the front of the building so could not be more convenient really.

The town itself is picturesque and has plenty going on with reasonably priced restaurants and snowy activities to suit all proclivities. If you want to go further afield the beautiful town of Annecy with its fine medieval buildings and majestic lake front is only about 30mins drive away.

Definitely recommend this apartment, do not hesitate to book. We will return.
