The appartment is very comfortable with good facilities and very well located on a lovely street in the Old Town. The owners have put a lot of thought into making it comfortable for their guests. We did have a couple of problems with the shower. Firstly the door somehow fell off it's rollers on top of my partner, shattering and cutting him - thankfully not seriously. There was also a problem with the drainage in the shower room which we were told was a recurring problem that couldn't be solved - this meant that the drain in the shower room emitted a very bad smell which permeated the whole appartment and we ended up having to buy lots of chemicals which we kept pouring down - not very eco friendly. I would also say that during our stay which we were lucky enough to have fantastic sunshine, the sun was never high enough in the sky to hit the balcony, and the windows all look onto an internal courtyard, so it wasn't quite the bright sunny apartment we had read about. I think in the height of summer, the sun would hit the balcony, but only for a short period of time, as it is very overlooked, so this is worth bearing in mind for sun seekers.
We also were shocked at the end of our stay when the owners withheld a large chunk of our deposit for laundering the bed linen and cleaning the apartment (despite the fact we had cleaned, mopped and hoovered the day we left) - something we were not warned of. The owner lives in Australia and also expects her clients to cover the bank charges both ways for the payment and then the return of the deposit, which works out to be quite pricy. The owner turned out not to be very pleasant with us, so from the experience of dealing with her, I couldn't recommend this property.
