Staff were friendly and the food was good. My husband had a tasty burger and I had the best curry of the week. Service was attentive and quick. Would have gone back here if we had had more time.

Thank Caz C

Food was fabulous! Fresh and tasty! Service good for Zanzibar. The venue is beautiful, right on the beach. We ate several meals here, all tasty and stopped at the bar for evening drinks and snacks. Recommend you stop by for a visit.

The best fresh fish I have eaten. I had tuna, king fish, baracuda and blue marlin - all fish of the day, each excellent. I highly recommend fresh juices and coctails - fantastic.

Most of the restaurants in Matemwe are in connection with the small resorts. Seles has maybe one of the best bars in the neighbourhood and is a good place to chill out, but they do also serve good fish dishes and even burgers. We stayed in another place that didn't serve any alcohol, so we visited Seles a couple of time both to have some beers as well as to try out their food.

Service is extremely slow. Food quality is average. The environment is too dark and do not quite understand why they are hiding the beach. There’s too much British taste hanging around... though options in Matemwe are not that many and this place is not bad.
