We've stayed at Warere Beach two times, the first time we got engaged, and one year later we came back for our wedding. We choose to get married at Warere, and book the whole hotel for our guests.

The hotel is small and personal, very clean and tasteful. The pool is nice and the beach below is amazing. The restaurant has a quite small menu, but everything tastes delicious. We tried some other restaurants along the beach, but no one is as good as Warere's.

What also plays a big part in our satisfaction with Warere is the staff, they are super lovely and always do their best to make you feel at home.

Our wedding went on for three days and exceeded all our expectations, Shauna and Paula at Warere did a great job in making it so special. They organised everything from decorations, DJ, band, poolside BBQ, excursions, brunch, party etc. It all turned out super nice. All our guests were also really happy with Warere, many also stayed at other hotels after our wedding, but everyone said Warere Beach was the best one.

If you're going to Zanzibar and want to stay at a boutique hotel with good value for the money - this is definitely the one to choose.

Room Tip: The bungalows are really nice, especially the three closest to the ocean.

I spent 6 nights in Warere beach hotel.
The rooms are big and clean.
The food is great, the only thing that was missing is some local food options.
The wifi in the rooms most of the time doesnt work but it isnt a big deal.
There is a great beach just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

We celebrated our daughter's wedding at Warere. Our party (30+ persons) spent almost a week there. We were really taken care of: All arrangements around the wedding, the services and other practical details were perfect. Both adults and children enjoyed the stay.

The meals were fine. Try the seafood pizza - that is the best of its kind I ever have had.

The beach here is a lot better than at some other parts of the island.

Negatives? The only thing is the bad roads around the resorts there.

Room Tip: Best stay is in one of the 3 bungalows at the seafront even if the wawes may be loud at high tide during the night.

I visited warere early june this year for my birthday get away with my friend. It was simply AMAZING. From the hospitality, cleanliness, the rooms were amazing and the food too, their Hawaiian pizza is to die for (tried it for the first time here BTW) and their tamarind chicken wings. A little improvement on the breakfast menu.
We received the best treatment from Mohammed, one of the staff at the pool side bar, he was funny and helped giving us an insight on what to do and what not to do in Zanzibar. Special thanks to the hotel for my surprise birthday cake which was absolutely delicious and the birthday wishes and songs were very thoughtful of you. The place was simply worth our money. Looking forward to staying here again.
