We visited Ant's Nest a year ago now and had a fabulous time. The whole team could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. We were there to see the wildlife on horseback which did not disappoint as you can get so much closer. One of the high points was joining a number of riders from the area to follow and watch the vet at work treating a Cape buffalo. And of course sundowners out in the bush each evening after riding was lovely. Ant himself is a great host and takes a fast ride if that is what you like. The team's work with the rhinos is fantastic and being able to see them so close up is amazing.

We visited Ant's Hill during January and had an amazing stay.
From arrival to departure the Ant's peeps are always there to assist and entertain.
The top top form of entertainment and relaxation are the outrides with horses perfectly chosen for you. I don't actually ride horses and I must say, I enjoyed it immensly!
The kids LOVED it and were catered for in every way!
he rooms are lovely - the fact that they are tucked away singularly in the bush is divine and the food is good, presented by a whitty chef called Friday.

Room Tip: All rooms are super as they are tucked into the bush, it really depending on size of group.

From the welcome as we arrived to when this fantastic experience was sadly over, we could not have asked for more. Ants Nest was the perfect place to start our riding adventure. Getting up close and personal to so much wildlife on horseback was an incredible experience, particularly the endangered rhino. The staff were faultless in their attention to detail and everything was organized perfectly, our every need catered for! The horses are very well looked after and it was a joy to be expertly paired with the right horse, my perfect riding buddy to make this such a memorable adventure. The food was delicious, rooms luxurious and the ambience just right. Thank you to everybody.

What a place! Luxury coupled with outstanding staff and wonderful horses. Managed to get close to several species including white rhino. Ant and Tess are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. I'm coming back - absolutely loved it!

The inspirational owners, Ant and Tess Baber are supported by fantastic staff who made our stay a wonderful memory and experience. As a group of 12 riders, we stayed for two days at Ants Nest and visited the stunning Ants Hill accomodation. Both are equally beautiful in layout and design, offering privacy if required, whilst also being able to cater for larger families or groups. The horses were exceptionally well cared for and we were able to see game in their natural environment. Their work in spearheading a campaign to prevent poaching of White Rhinos in the Waterberg area is vital and a most worthy cause. A place to relax, a place for families and a great place for a horse safari.
