Food was delicious! Every meal was excellent. Fresh breads every day and all meals homemade.
Hosts pay attention to detail and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our Ranger had a wide range of knowledge about the bush and treated us to special outings every day.

Jembisa Bush Home is exactly that - a home away from home! The staff were really outstanding - friendly & accomodating and our guide was really knowledgeable. Our daughters loved the playroom, and playing in the garden with the dogs. Meal times were very special, very yummy food served in new spots each time. Special mention must be made of the bush breakfast on our last day which was postcard perfect. Lots to do, bush walks, game drives and fishing on the river.

Jembisa is a true hidden gem. My family of 4 stayed just two nights at the lodge and felt so at ease, as if it were our own home. Unlike other safari lodges, Jembisa is almost completely private, with only one other lodge in the entire game reserve. It’s truly a home within the bush and what a beautiful home it is, with relaxing nooks and stunning grounds to explore. Our children, ages 11 and 14, had the most wonderful time making themselves right at home and enjoying everything the lodge had to offer. As soon as we arrived, Lorraine and Clayton welcomed us so warmly and took care of everything. We had our first game drive almost right away and at lunch in the middle of the bush - what a treat! From sun up to sun down we were treated like family but felt like royalty, with all our needs taken care of. Jembisa will always hold a special place in our hearts. It is truly magical and we can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire Jembisa staff for making our stay perfect in every way.
