We had a very special time at Kalmoesfontein. What an amazing experience of beauty, quality, luxury and creativity. We loved the outdoor bath , and had a warm bath under the stars watching the sun set with snow on the mountains. Wish we could stay longer.

Kalmoesfontein was just what we needed. The cleanest most loved farm we have ever had the privilege of visiting. From the personal touches - fresh farm eggs, warm sourdough loaf, hot water bags, gorgeous linen, super well equipped kitchen - to the incredible hospitality from Semma and Charl. Absolute delicious lunch and super friendly helpful staff all around. We will for sure visit again very soon.

It was an absolute treat to stay at The Silo for two nights with it's beautiful views and special atmosphere. Delicious homemade bread was waiting on the counter on arrival, with butter and milk in the fridge. As it rained almost all day we definitely have to come back for long walks on the farm and a wine tasting if lockdown is lifted. Thank you, Semma!

Our weekend trip to Riebeek Kasteel (an idylic place by the way) included a very pleasurable tasting of the AA Badenhorst family wines. Without hesitation I can truly say they were amazing. Being a lover of white wine my favourite was the Secateurs but the Family White came in a close second. Loved every minute of it.

We all (kids and dogs included) had an amazing stay.
The Stables suited us perfectly with everything well thought out and tastefully appointed.
All foods (pizzas, braai pack, and picnic basket) and wines were perfectly delicious.
Semma, Charl, Christine, Blessing and all staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
We really hope to go back soon!
