We had been here in 2016 and We had a lovely memory of the place, service and food. We booked without hesitation. Upon arrival we sadly had to change our minds.
The place remains as charming as it was then but the new management is in obvious difficulty turning that feeling of privilege into captivity. The food is poor and being the resort on an island where there is nothing else it is impossible to even think about eating elsewhere. Luckily for us we stayed for a short 5 day break but I doubt it is possible to stay longer. Although we relaxed in the sun leaving the island we all had a feeling of liberation having a great breakfast in the port of Palau. This should never happen.More
