Conveniently located in Grant Village. Pleasant staff. Lovely view. Seems to rely on tired menu offerings.

Without doubt, the worst place to go for a meal in Yellowstone. When your meal arrives before your drinks, you know you're in trouble. For us Aussies, the food is worse than hospital food, they even serve in with those plastic stacker covers on it. Overpriced, pre cooked and very unappetising. A bag of crisps would be better.

This restaurant is right on Yellowstone Lake with beautiful views. This is a casual spot that is perfect for families. We tried the Elk bratwurst which was awesome. This is not a cheap place to eat (nothing in Yellowstone is). Service was friendly and pretty quick.

We couldn't get in for dinner, which was a bummer because the other restaurant was terrible. We came back at breakfast and had the best service we had experienced anywhere in the park. The breakfast buffet was great too and the view is fantastic!

Yellowstone was packed with visitors, but oops, the services were just reving up when we visited in early June. The six of us needed affordable food, an easy place for kids, and hours that met our needs. The Lake House restaurant was so cold we could barely think about our meal or the lake view. Our second attempt, we arrived at 8:03 PM and it was closed leaving us with no place to eat without driving to Old Faithful facilities. Luckily, we had a loaf of bread and a couple of avocados with us. I am mystified by Xanterra's management style. The park had zero openings, yet its grocery store did not open until 9 and stopped serving hot dogs etc. at 5. We could have done okay if we centered our whole stay on linking up with available food sources. Meanwhile, the park was wonderful and we are very appreciative of it.
