We just spent 4 nights at The Westin in downtown Cincinnati. The staff were all great. The hotel is lacking a hotel restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They rely on an independent place on the lower level for breakfast coffee and muffins, or the Dunkin Donuts. For dinner the McCormick and Schmicks is the best closest option, even though you have to go outside the hotel to get there. Our room was great, with a view of Fountain Square. However, do not accept room 1215 unless you like a toilet that is only 12 inches tall. Really.

I arrived a little late and the parking garage was a bit desolate and scary but once I made it to the lobby, I had a good experience. The hotel was clean and quite. I had drinks at the wine bar which had a nice view, good selection of wine and a friendly bartender. I would recommend for a business trip.

Overall, good. Between the conference and business outings, very little time was spent enjoying the amenities of the hotel. The largest problem I ran into, was finding parking. When I arrived, the parking lot stated full. There seems to be some discrepancies between myself and coworkers, who still pulled into the lot and found adequate parking.

Best thing about room 1625...girfeous view.

I will jump right in. This hotel is horrible. Valet person intimated that car will have limited valet service in a day. Really? For $35 /day I should ve able to call for car ad I need it. Toilet in this room had low pressure and is so low to the floor almost appears to be a child's toilet. The shower has 2 heads, hand held and a rain showerhead. Water drips from over head when using handheld...again low pressure. The temperature in room never got above 74 degrees despite the thermastat setting at 80. Maintenance guy cam said thermastat set at 80, let it warm up, really! He mentioned the thermastat was "quirky and in order to repair, we would need t leave the room." Also, he suggested we close curtains to keep heat in. On the day of ck out we called for the car, wanted to go to breakfast. We planned to leave car out front of hotel, grab our bags and check out. We were told per Front Desk, we had to check out when Valet brings the car on check out day. Valet brought the car, and we left hotel. Total 2 nites $427. This hotel is low on quality. Highly suggest you spend that kind of money elsewhere. The Internet will cost you $10/day.

The hotel was very nice, staff was very friendly. WiFi isn’t free unless you signup for the rewards program which isn’t exactly hard so I would suggest just signing up for it. The TV went out one night but they fixed it. The AC is a little slow to respond and I think the maid or someone turned it up one day and took forever to come back down but it’s a minor issue. The bathrooms are very nice and they keep the restrooms on the meeting floors clean as well. There is plenty to do and eat within walking distance.
