We booked our snorkeling trip through Hawaiian ocean promotion to get here. Just spectacular seeing, learning, and snorkeling with fishes in the bay. There’s a small fee to get in to swim with these creatures so bring cash or credit cards. We snorkel for about 2 hours and got food. Food was not great here and of course, expensive! But it’s definitely worth it to bring the kids for an adventure and Education on Hawaiian fish and reefs.

Great place to drive to. The drive was scenic and very beautiful. You pass the blowhole....another good stop....then when you arrive, you park at the top and get a great overlook of the bay which is in an old crater. Once you go down, you walk into the water to snorkel....great for young children and those not wanting to go far out on a boat to snorkel. You will still see beautiful fish, coral and have an awesome time!

Favorite beach to go to in Honolulu! The pictures just don't do it justice! I was stunned with I saw the view of the nature preserve from the top of the mountain. Highly recommend!

I first visited 30 years ago and thought this was paradise. Obviously many agreed with me. 30 years later and it is so crowded that you can't snorkel without bumping into people. The variety and number of fish have nothing on any number of Maui beaches. If you are only in Oahu, then you should visit but if you have the chance, go to Maui. Its an easy bus ride (45 minutes on Bus 22) from Waikiki. The bus ride is a good way to see part of the island. You can take your own snorkel and mask or rent on site. The admission charge is just $7.50 for over 12 - under 12 are free. Enjoy.
